Dr. Moore is a licensed physician, who practices General Surgery and Holistic Medicine. He became interested in medicine at the age of 12 when his father underwent open-heart surgery. The life-saving work of those surgeons inspired Dr. Moore to pursue a career in surgery, but the experience also fostered a desire to better understand the impact that diet, exercise, and lifestyle can have on one’s health.

He graduated from The Florida State University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science followed by a Masters in Biological Sciences from Barry University, before earning his Medical Degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2012. While at UM he served as Student Body President and Student member on The University of Miami’s Board of Trustees, and was the Project Coordinator for the Overtown Health Fair supported by UM’s Department of Community Service. After completing a General Surgery Residency Program at Atlanta Medical Center, he came back to South Florida to join the Division of General and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Memorial Regional Hospital.

Dr. Moore strives to empower his patients to take charge of their wellness, and promotes a whole food plant-based diet, mindfulness, and an active lifestyle. He is an advocate for Medical Marijuana as part of a multimodal treatment plan for myriad disease processes, and is in support of the reformation of antiquated laws which have disproportionately affected communities of color and those with lower socioeconomic status.
